On Tuesday dawn, Israeli soldiers abducted at least five Palestinians from their homes in several parts of the occupied West Bank.
In Hebron, in the occupied West Bank’s southern part, the soldiers invaded Deir Samit town, southwest of the city, and Beit Ummar town, north of Hebron, searched and ransacked several homes, and abducted two former political prisoners, Mohyeddin Sharawna and Mohammad Mahmoud Awad, 33.
The soldiers also installed roadblocks on Hebron’s northern roads and the main streets leading to Sa’ir, Yatta, and Halhoul, stopped and searched dozens of cars, and interrogated many Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards.
In Salfit, in the central West Bank, the soldiers invaded Hares village, west of the city, searched and ransacked several homes before abducting Adam Shamlawi and Mohannad Sultan.
In Ramallah, in the central West Bank, the soldiers invaded Rantis town, northwest of the city, searched homes, and abducted Jihad Sari Wahdan.
Also on Tuesday dawn, the Palestinian Health Ministry confirmed the death of Amjad Aref Al-Ja’as, 48, who was shot and seriously injured by Israeli army fire Monday during the massive Israeli invasion of Jenin, leading to five deaths and more than 100 injuries; the soldiers killed Amjad’s son Wasim Amjad Aref Al-Ja’as, 19, on January 26, 2023.
On Monday evening, Israeli soldiers killed a young Palestinian man and injured two after the army invaded Husan village, west of Bethlehem, in the occupied West Bank.
